Growing up, my dad took my brothers and me to dirt track races in Wisconsin. Wilmot Raceway was our local track. After moving away, I discovered how difficult it was to find nearby tracks and current schedules. DirtFan became the resource I wanted as a racing fan: tracks, upcoming races, news, photos, and videos.
It covers speedways across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Each track has location info, directions, weather, and (when we have it) schedules and media. If you have never been, go. Close racing, dirt in the air, and you often don’t know who wins until the last corner.

A guide to one intersection: life, work, nightlife, and arts on North Broad. Archival photos from Odd Fellows Hall and Baldwin Locomotive Works sit alongside walking maps, dining, The Met, and whatever is happening around the neighborhood.
If you live nearby, it is a resident handbook. If you are visiting, it is a guide to dinner, breweries, groceries, and shows within a 10-minute walk.

An unofficial neighbor guide for the historic corner tower at Broad & Spring Garden. Laundry, packages, carts, the trash chute, keys, moving day, who to call, newsletters, and the building’s story — the small habits that keep a dense building feeling like home.
Official notices still come from Onyx and the association. This site is the neighbor handbook I wanted in the building: practical, local, and easy to share.

An interactive discovery guide and stamp passport for Sansom Street. Dining, drinks, and shows from Jewelers’ Row through Rittenhouse — Morimoto, Oscar’s, Helium, Time, and a lot of spots in between.

Philadelphia theater

A guide to intimate and midsize theater in and around Philadelphia: upcoming shows, venues, performance groups, and a simple night-out plan. Dinner nearby, a short walk, then a room close enough to see the actors’ faces.
Tickets stay with the group or venue. The site gathers what is on in the next month and points you toward houses like Plays & Players, The Drake, Exile, Lantern, and others like them.
